- This intersection is extremely dangerous for pedestrians. When crossing Collwood Blvd toward the west side, vehicles frequently fail to stop—even when the pedestrian signal is active. Drivers traveling along Collwood Blvd, especially coming from El Cajon Blvd toward Montezuma Rd, frequently run red lights and significantly exceed the posted 40 mph speed limit. We have personally experienced multiple near-misses while walking our dogs, even when crossing legally with the pedestrian signa
